2024

• June 17: Charles Hoskinson's Tweet A viral moment begins when Charles Hoskinson posts a photo of his pet pig, Nike—sparking widespread interest and ultimately inspiring the creation of the $NIKE token.

• June 17: Token Creation

  The $NIKE token is officially created, marking the start of a community-driven meme coin inspired by Nike the pig.

• June 24: Reached 20 million USD market cap Fueled by explosive community growth and cross-chain attention, Nike has attracted holders and memecoin enthusiasts from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana—many of whom are experiencing Cardano for the very first time through Nike.

• June 26: CoinGecko $NIKEPIG is officially listed on CoinGecko, enhances the visibility and accessibility of the token.

• October 4: SNEKbot award

  $NIKEPIG was awarded the most traded token of all time on Snekbot, surpassing other major tokens such as $SNEK and $DANZO.

• October 12: Integration of $NIKE to Danzo Casino

  Player can wager their $NIKE on games such as Bonanza, Crash and Blackjack. After a brief pause to address a recent exploit, the system has been secured and is ready for action. Dive in and enjoy the thrill of wagering with $NIKE.

• October 24: First CEX Listing

  Secured our first centralized exchange listing on LCX, under the trading pair $NIKEPIG/EUR. This milestone was earned entirely for free through a community-driven voting contest—an incredible testament to the strength, unity, and passion of the NIKEPIG community.

• November 16: $NIKEPIG – Unified Ticker, Stronger Future We’ve officially changed our on-chain ticker from $NIKE to $NIKEPIG. This unification strengthens brand consistency, and improves our positioning for future CEX listings.

• November 19: AscendEX Listing

  AscendEX Crypto Exchange has officially listed $NIKEPIG under the trading pair $NIKEPIG/USDT.

• December 9: CoinMarketCap

  $NIKEPIG is officially listed on CoinMarketCap, enhances the visibility and accessibility of the token.

2025

• February: Launch of Bomberpig Bomberpig launches, featuring Nike in a Bomberman-style arena. Players can battle and wager $NIKEPIG tokens, adding fun utility and boosting community engagement.

• March: SOCKZ Partnership Nike socks (RWA) go live through the SOCKZ collaboration, combining meme culture with wearable merch that generates revenue.

• April: BabySnek Partnership NikePig partners with Babysnek to release limited-edition Nike plushies (RWA), which lock up $NIKEPIG tokens and reduce circulating supply.

• April: Chad Partnership Launch of Nike-branded workout formula drinks under the CHAD label (RWA), generating new revenue streams and expanding brand visibility in the fitness niche.

• April: Tokeo Wallet Partnership $NIKEPIG teams up with Tokeo to release custom Nike digital wallet themes (RWA), set to launch in Q3. This partnership adds flair and brand identity for Cardano-native users, enhancing the digital wallet experience.

• April: Keystone Wallet Partnership A Nike-themed hardware wallet is set to launch in Q3 through a collaboration with Keystone (RWA), offering holders a secure and stylish way to store their assets while repping the brand.

• April: Burgermania TV Partnership $NIKEPIG joins the entertainment world with a cameo in Burgermania, a satirical animated TV series. Nike will appear in two short comedic sketches this summer, with a major trailer debut planned for September.

• April: Walkers Partnership $NIKEPIG joins the Walkers rewards system, letting users earn tokens just by walking. This partnership boosts utility and brings $NIKEPIG to a broader, health-focused audience.

• April: Quacku Partnership NikePig teams up with Quacku to release exclusive Nike merchandise (RWA), tapping into existing fanbases while driving real-world revenue.

• May: Launch of NIKEVERSE NFT

  NIKEVERSE NFT is a gamified, degen-fueled mint where the real magic starts post-mint. Rarer NFTs grant more raffle tickets, unlocking yield, floor sweep raffles, voting rights, and 1/1 lottery prizes. It’s fun, it’s wild, and it keeps the $NIKEPIG ecosystem spinning.

• May: Launch of AxonAI Beta AxonAI enters beta — a crypto intelligence platform powered by NikePig and two other Cardano AI projects, Mister and Bok. Built for traders and investors, it uses custom in-house trained AI to detect anomalies, deliver real-time signals, and provide insights into both Cardano and the broader crypto market. Access to advanced features will be token-gated, requiring users to hold tokens from all three partner projects. Exclusive subscriptions will also be available for users outside the Cardano ecosystem. AxonAI aims to onboard users across multiple blockchains, expanding visibility and directly driving demand for $NIKEPIG as access to the platform becomes increasingly valuable.
